Last March 4, 2022 the Rotary Club of Zamboanga City North successfully turnover Global Grant #2122822 Provision of Dental Health Clinic and Equipment to two government hospitals namely Cristino M. Paragas Memorial Community Hospital in barangay Quiniput and Mindanao Central Sanitarium General Hospital in barangay Pasobolong. The global grant cost is $33,600 and made possible through partnership with RCZC North sister club from South Korea Rotary Club of Seongnam Seunil RI District 3600 and support of our RI District 3850.
The turnover was graced by RI District 3850 Immediate Past District Governor Louie Gonzaga along with our RI D3850 Life Changing Governor Edwin To. City Health Officer Doctor Dulce Dagalea Miravite accepted it on behalf of Cristino M. Paragas Memorial Community Hospital and Doctor Hannah Turco for MCS General Hospital, respectively.
The Rotary Club of Zamboanga City North along with Rotary Club of Seongnam Seunil South Korea, hopes that the donated dental equipment will be utilized well and help the community in maintaining healthy teeth for all ages.
