The advocacy “Tamang Ako sa Tamang Kandidato”, is one of the significant issues in the coming Election 2022 (#HalalanPH2022).
Shouldn’t Rotary stay out of politics?” The answer is a firm yes…and no.

While it is true that the Standard Club Constitution of every club states that it cannot endorse candidates, public measures or initiatives, it also states that Rotary clubs can allow study, information and discussion of political matters. The issues and concerns in our society and the world are of concern to the members, too. Invited speakers and relevant topics can bring enlightenment to its members in forming individual opinions.

The general guideline is that Rotary is a service organization which wants to attract and keep members from all political persuasions as well as to work with government agencies where needed to execute its humanitarian projects. Accordingly, it must remain neutral on political issues while at the same time helping its members to stay informed and educated on political issues so that they can make informed choices.

Together, let us continue to be true agents of change in our societies. Together, we can Serve to Change Lives.
