Blood donation is a voluntary procedure that can help save the lives of others. About 42 blood units were collected from the successful blood donors during the Mobile Blood Donation Program at Laguinbanwa West, Numancia. Mabuhay our modern heroes.
We came across Carl Vincent Beltran (22yo) who is an incoming Third Year student at NVC. He was encouraged and accompanied by her doting mother Mrs. Imelda S. Beltran, who worked for 14 years as Barangay Health Worker and now as Barangay Nutritionist Scholar; our regular donor John Gerald Losera (21yo), member of Parish Youth Ministry (PYM) of St. Joseph The Parish Worker, also a third year student at CPU; and one of the Rotaract Club members (Community Based) Ms. Phebe F. Ingat (28yo), who is a first time donor and currently teaching at Numancia Integrated School ALS.
Some members of Rotaract Club, ALS (NIS) Interact Club and RCC of Metro Kalibo also jointly recruited donors. Kudos to the supervision of their adviser ALS Mr. Roje Ereñia and New Generations Director PN Edwin Autencio, led by Life-Changing President Loida M. Enero who were present early on.
Also present were PRC Aklan volunteer physician Dr. Floriphez Yerro, partners from PAMET led by their current president Ace Feliciano and VP Scott T. Gonzales, LGU Numancia RHU Mid-Wife Mrs. Lovell T. Andrade, Barangay Laguinbanwa Chairman Alvin M. Nabor, NDP Laguinbanwa West Femy I.
