The Rotary Club of Metro Kalibo (D3850) and Rotary Club of Makati (D3830), conducted a relief operation in partnership with Rotaract Club of Metro Kalibo, Aklan Provincial Police Office (APPO) Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD), MPS Numancia and Aklan Baghay, Inc., on Oct. 31, 2022 at Barangay Bulwang, Numancia, Aklan.
Another 50 affected families of #TyphoonPaengPH received food packs and slightly used clothes during the relief operation, plus more or less 25 teenagers/children who enjoyed the pep talk and psychosocial activities this afternoon. Rotary information was also discussed to culminate the #EndPolio celebration this October.
The team was led by RCMK Pres. Romeo R. Reyes, Jr, with VP/PE Edwin Autencio, PP Rosie Reyes, IPP Loida Enero, and Director Public Image PP Megs Lunn, also Rotaract president Aiah Mindanao & team and ALS Interact club president Sandra Dela Cruz & team.
Likewise present were, Aklan PPO Police Director PCOL CRISALEO R TOLENTINO, Deputy for Administration PCOL ALVIN BALIO, COP MPS Numancia PMAJ FIDEL T GENTALLAN, Aklan Baghay President Ramel V. Buncalan, PAGPTD Vice-Chair Internal Dr. Jhoanna G. Guarin and PSMU staff Pat Cherry Ronquillo.
Surprisingly, we were visited by PLTCOL WILBERT A DIVINA, AC, ID, Area Police Command VISAYAS who is in town.
